What to Expect After a Procedure
Most in office urologic procedures allow you to return home the same day. Recovery time depends on the procedure, but common guidance includes drinking plenty of water to keep urine dilute, avoiding heavy lifting for a short period and watching for signs of infection such as fever, worsening pain or unusual discharge. Your care team will provide written aftercare instructions specific to your procedure and a direct number to call with questions.
