Conditions We Treat

Urological Conditions

  • Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): a non cancerous enlargement of the prostate that can cause a weak stream, urinary frequency and nighttime urination. Treated with medication and minimally invasive procedures.
  • Elevated PSA: a rising prostate specific antigen level that warrants further evaluation to rule out cancer or identify benign causes such as BPH or prostatitis.
  • Urinary Incontinence: unintentional loss of urine, ranging from occasional leakage to complete loss of bladder control, treatable with therapy, medication or surgery.
  • Erectile Dysfunction: often an early sign of vascular or hormonal issues and highly treatable once the underlying cause is identified.
  • Kidney Stones: hard mineral deposits that can block urine flow and cause severe pain, treated with imaging, medical management or minimally invasive stone removal.
  • Urinary Tract Infections and Other Urologic Conditions: bacterial infections and additional urinary tract concerns requiring prompt diagnosis and treatment.

Urologic Cancers

  • Prostate Cancer: the most common cancer diagnosed in men and one of the most treatable when caught early through PSA screening and biopsy.
  • Bladder Cancer: a cancer of the bladder lining, often first noticed as blood in the urine, evaluated with cystoscopy and imaging.
  • Other Cancers: including kidney, testicular and other urologic cancers, evaluated and treated in coordination with Great Lakes Oncology.
